THE FUTURE OF TRAVEL
BY EXPEDIA

IMMERSE YOURSELF INTO THE
FUTURE OF TRAVEL SHOWCASE

How will technology influence the travel experience? Will Virtual Reality become as integral to your travel booking as checking a website is today? How will technology make the travel experience better for the Millennial generation and beyond?

Expedia's Millennial 2020 Summit booth gives an inside look at how airlines, tourism boards and new start-ups are using the latest technologies to let travellers explore even before they step foot onto a plane.

Showcasing:

Delta

Delta has developed an innovative Virtual Reality/ Augmented Reality experience through Oculus Rift glasses for its Delta One and Delta Comfort+ cabins.

Tourism Australia

To showcase the many landscapes and hidden gems of Australia, Tourism Australia used the latest technology to create 360 films for Samsung VR Gear headsets, Google Cardboard and its own suite of apps.

what3words

At Expedia, we believe in the power of travel to discover life's hidden gems. Yet, many of the world's most interesting, beautiful and fun places don't have an address. what3words has given every 3mx3m square on the planet a unique 3 word address. You can locate anything, wherever you are in the world, using the free what3words app. For Millennial 2020 Summit, Expedia teamed up with what3words to show how technology makes travel better.
